Xun flute is an ancient Chinese musical instrument having a history of around 7000 years. It is closely related to an ocarina whistle, but the sound is achieved like blowing a bottle, letting air into the clay wind chamber. We have 4 main categories: black pottery xuns with bull head shape, gourd shape, moon shape (and more) by Z.Z. Yin, wood fired marbling clay xuns by Y.H. Li, porcelain xuns gold chariot pattern and celadon glaze finish by C.B. Lin and terracotta xuns with dragon carvings by H.D. Zhang. Please see below for more.
